We are excited to invite you to join us for  the 18th Annual John P. Campbell Memorial Golf Tournament at Mallard Head Country Club  -  Wednesday, June 20, 2012.  Mallard Head is located on beautiful Lake Norman in Mooresville, NC.  For those of you who participated in last year's tournament, we greatly appreciate your support and cordially invite you to participate again.  If you have never played and would like to, we invite you to join us for a great day of golf and fellowship.

John Pierce Campbell, a pioneer and visionary of the Lake Norman area, became a great support of HPCIC in the early 90's after be witnessed the wonderful care his brothers had received.  Campbell who developed Mallard Head Golf Course on Brawley School Road hosted the tournament to raise awareness of hospice and to support the work of HPCIC.  We lost Mr. Campbell in December of 2006, but to this day, the Campbell Family has kept the tradition alive, and the entire Campbell Family is on hand the day of the event to show their support.  All proceeds from the tournament benefit Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County.  The seventeen tournaments have raised over $450,000 to benefit patient care and comfort at HPCIC.  We are grateful to Eddie Campbell and the Campbell Family along with the staff at Mallard Head for all their work to make this event a continued success.

The tournament is limited to just 257 golfers so please register today! We are offering both 8am and 2pm starts and Two Person Captain’s Choice. The cost is $75 per golfer and  includes green and cart fees, hot dogs and hamburgers served all day, gifts and refreshments.  We’ll be holding a raffle for exciting prizes that include an I-Pad.  Raffle tickets are $5 each and 5 for $20.
