Get Involved with Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County

Willing Hearts Helping Hands Capital Campaign

Due to the dramatic increase in demand for Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County's services and an overwhelming need for more patient beds at the Gordon Hospice House, we are proud to announce the Willing Hearts Helping Hands capital campaign to expand the Hospice House.

The Gordon Hospice House has been home to hundreds in our community who seek high quality care and compassion at the end of life's journey. Many patients come directly from the hospital with acute medical needs, while other patients are transferred into the Hospice House from our home care program.

Patients who are cared for during their final weeks at the Hospice House find comfort and peace, as they are surrounded by family and friends and supported by a caring professional staff. The specially trained staff provide around-the-clock medical care as well as emotional and spiritual support.

Located on a tranquil, six-acre site in Statesville, the Gordon Hospice House is state licensed and accredited. The Hospice House exudes a warmth, comfort and charm unique to such state-of-the-art residential and inpatient care facilities. Amenities include spacious, homelike patient suites, common areas for family gatherings and a meditation garden.

Gordon Hospice House is the only provider of residential and inpatient hospice services in Iredell County, and there is a high demand for the nine beds currently available. Not all patients and families referred to the Hospice House have been able to receive the benefits it has to offer, as often times there may be a waiting list.

With your help, Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County can expand hospice services at the Gordon Hospice House, adding six more patient bedrooms and ensuring that no one who is facing life's final journey will be denied the care, comfort and compassion this special place provides.

How You Can Help

Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County is seeking to expand our hospice services by building a new wing on the Gordon Hospice House.

We invite you to become a part of this worthy endeavor for our community that will help provide a safe haven for all patients in need of Hospice House services. Your support will give families peace of mind, as they won't have to face the most difficult time in their lives without the care and support of the Gordon Hospice House.

Make a contribution today, and yours can be the Willing Hearts and Helping Hands that make this happen.
